Thanks to the entire McGinley family for all of their hard work helping us get "CODE RED" ready for graphics and back on the water. They've been working overtime for 3 weeks knowing that we had to begin our tour by the 1st of April. It's nice to know that there are such nice people out there in this world. I just received my pallet of 2010 sample products from Eagle Claw/ Wright & McGill. Has anyone had a chance to check out the new Skeet Reese Rods? If they fish anything like they look, the fish are in deep trouble.

While traveling from Clarkston WA. to Spokane WA. on Hwy 27 we passed this old barn on the side of the road. We thought it would be worth sharing with you.

Cathedral Gorge State Park, NV.

This is one of our favorite places to stay on our travels. This is the cleanest State Park we've ever seen. The scenery around the park is just incredible. Beyond words.

We just left there and were informed by the local Ranger that the State of Nevada is having a hard time with the State budgets and are cutting funds to the State Parks. This would be a terrible shame to see this park or any other State Park go under.

It is our understanding that the State Parks run in the red and more than pays for themselves. To cut funds to a line item in order to allocate funds to something else that runs in the black absolutely makes no since to us. We don't gamble. We go to NV. for the scenery. Don't take this away Mr. Governor.

Spring Creek RV Park & Hotel

If you're in the Lake Roosevelt AZ. area and want to spend some relaxing time and meet some neat people, stop in to the Spring Creek RV Park and Hotel. We spent a month there and made some great friends. It was so nice and quiet and the scenery was magnificent. The Host, Rebecca, is a hoot. We made a good friend in meeting her and can't wait to get back. We want to thank them so much for their support in our endeavor. Give them a call @ 928-467-2888.

If ever you're in the Corpus Christi TX. area and want to go on a killer fishing trip, you have to give my long time friend and the best fisherman I ever met, Captain Joey Farrah, a call @(361)442-8145. I"ve fished with him more times than I can count and he has never not been able to find the fish. Between hauling in moster fish all day and the laughing and bantering, you are sure to have a great time. Jennifer and I got to spend quality time with Joey and his two kids on a fishing trip this winter and it was without a doubt, something to remember.

We are finally on the road to Montana. Before we get to far, we wanted to say a special thanks to John and Mary Hurd for supporting our cause and letting us stay at their Country Inn RV Park in Kingsville Tx. (361) 522-5582 while we were traveling this winter. John and Mary are great people and John's a crazy Ol fisherman too and runs a great RV Park. If you're ever down that way look em up. Oh Ya, don't worry, the Javalinas dont bite.

We are getting ready to head back up North Monday to get the boat ready for our Spring travels. I look around here in central Arizona and see all the cactus starting to bloom and I fear what I'm about to run in to on the way home. It gives me relief to know that I will only be in the snow long to get our gear together and head to good fishing. We should be in Eastern Washington by the 1st week of April. If anybody has good fishing tips for Lake Cour De Alene, I would love to hear them.

Although the fishing on Lake Roosevelt in Arizona has been tough due to a massive late winter rain, we did manage to pick up on a hefty Large Mouth Bass.
